Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to welcome SAMH to East End Park this Saturday.

SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) is Scotland`s leading mental health charity.

This year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. If you don’t, the chances are you will know someone who does.

Talking is one of the first steps to improving mental health. We simply can’t measure the importance of a conversation in supporting someone to recover and move forward with their life. The team at SAMH who support those affected by poor mental health are having those conversations every day.

Established in 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland, directly supporting over 4,000 people annually. These services, together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity. inform our policy work to influence positive social change.

Dunfermline Athletic Vice-Chairman, Billy Braisby said: "Dunfermline Athletic would like to welcome SAMH to East End Park this Saturday. It`s a charity close to the club`s heart, so we are delighted to help raise awareness at this Saturday`s match against Queen of the South."

The work SAMH do is so important. Mental ill health is invisible yet it can determine so many things. our ability to work, to have relationships and in the worst case, life expectancy.

Please text `TALK` to 70040 to donate £3 to SAMH, and help us be there for someone when they need us.
